As an extension of the world-renowned engineering machinery exhibition Bauma in China, Bauma CHINA officially landed in China as early as 2002. From the 400 exhibitors and 30000 visitors of the first exhibition to the current over 3000 exhibitors and 200000 visitors, whether it's 20 years of "time" or 300000 square meters of "space", there are too many stories inside. And these stories related to exhibitions witness the thinking and efforts made by people in the development process of the construction machinery industry in the face of changes.

Today, in the face of complex changes in the international situation and weak global economic recovery, we take a moment to look back at the development of enterprises at the Bauma CHINA exhibition in recent years and clearly see the internationalization path of China's construction machinery.

In the 1990s, China's construction machinery began to be exported. At that time, the technical level of construction machinery had a significant gap compared to the international level, coupled with limited sales channels and minimal export volume. Since 2002, China's construction machinery enterprises have gradually embarked on the path of internationalization. From exports to overseas factory construction, to cross-border mergers and acquisitions, the internationalization process in the past decade has similarities with the internationalization path of Japanese construction machinery. Bauma CHINA officially landed in China in 2002.

Since 2012, Chinese construction machinery enterprises have embarked on the path of cross-border mergers and acquisitions. The merger and acquisition of well-known enterprises in the field of engineering machinery has not only improved the technical strength of Chinese enterprises, but also tested the ability of Chinese corporate culture integration.
